The Tri-Peoples Development and Services Foundation, Inc.




The Tri-Peoples Development and Services Foundation, Inc, (3P Foundation) formally constituted and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 11, 2013, is actually an embodiment of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the Yaki Company Inc., the leading manufacturer of herbal-based pharmaceutical, food supplement and cosmetics in Mindanao.  Since its constitution, the 3P Foundation took on the implementation of the regular Free Medical Consultation and Medical Mission that the Yaki Herbal Company has been doing since the past seven years, including the Company’s Scholarship Program which has already produced dozens of professionals and graduates and is still sending around 72 students to schools at various levels.

The Free Medical Check Up and Medical Mission that are being sustained now by the 3P Foundation form part of its Health Program, while the Scholarship Program form part of its Education Program. To add to its core programs, the 3P Foundation now has a Poverty Alleviation Program which is fundamentally agriculture based.



Philippine economy is basically agriculture-based. The Tri-Peoples Resource Development & Services Foundation, Inc. (3P Foundation), therefore, believes that developing agriculture is the only way to develop the country’s economy. Further, if the country would aim to achieve an industrialization, the way towards it is to develop and advance its agriculture.

In its effort to contribute to the development of agriculture, the 3P Foundation has adopted a holistic and comprehensive program designed to help increase the income of farmer communities which will eventually empower them economically.

To achieve this end, the 3P Foundation has already started developing a demonstration farm which shall serve as a model of a progressive farming community. This program of the 3P Foundation that started in August of 2014, ultimately hopes to reach out to beneficiary organizations replicating the things that are being done at the demonstration farm called the 3P Farm.

Education Program (EP)

  1. Scholarship Program

The 3P Foundation already has more than 20 graduates (as of 2014) of different courses under its scholarship program. It presently has 72 scholars in various elementary, high school and colleges in the country. It intends to raise more funds to sustain and add more scholars.

Some scholars are enjoying free tuition fee, free board and lodging, free daily allowance, free school vehicle and allotment for school supplies, uniform and books.

Others avail only of one or two of the above enumerated benefits while some qualified only for three or four of the above enumerated scholarship benefits.

In an effort to expand the coverage of the scholarship program, the 3P Foundation also intends to scout for more donors who may join an “Adopt a scholar program” that will be implemented by the Foundation.

Health Program

The 3P Foundation has been conducting a monthly Medical and Feeding Missions in depressed communities. It plans not only to sustain but expand such programs as it has also already expanded its weekly free clinic to bi-weekly.

It also plans to construct “Learning and Health Centers” in depressed communities. The Centers will serve as venue for educating mothers on Health and Sanitation, including maternal health care. The Centers shall as well serve as Health Clinics. This particular effort shall be in partnership will Barangay Officials which shall help provide health personnel who will conduct regular medical check up for community members.

It maintains a weekly radio program titled “Yaman ang Kalusugan Ingatan” (Health is Wealth) where medical professionals are invited to discuss basic health care with special feature of listeners participation who ask any health related questions that will be answered by the guest medical professionals.

To make its health services to the poor communities more effective and efficient, the 3P Foundation plans to build a Peoples Hospital.
